Fundraising
Throughout the year, FCCLA has multiple fundraisers to help our chapter. Proceeds from fundraisers go towards members’ registration to Fall Leadership Conference, STAR Events registration and supplies, chapter events food and decorations, and state and national registration and lodging.
Little Caesars Pizza Kits
Little Caesars Pizza Kits was our fall fundraisers. Each member was required to sell a minimum of 10 kits.
Concession Stands
During football or basketball season, FCCLA normally has 2-3 concession stands throughout the year. We sell nachos, sloppy nachos, hotdogs, and candy. Sometimes, we will even have a meal deal. Members sign up for different shifts during each night.
Valentines Sales
On Valentine’s Day, the students, staff, and parents of Linn High School and Linn Lutheran School have the opportunity to buy Valentine’s from FCCLA. Cookies, muffins, and soda are all available to give to give to a friend or loved one.
Enchilada Sales
At the very end of the school year, the chapter all pitches in to sell enchiladas. The enchiladas go primarily toward the members who are qualified for National STAR Events or are attending the national conference. Members make the enchiladas together, and then they are available for pick up.
Pretty Princess Party
At the start of spring, FCCLA throws a Pretty Princess Party. Girls from kindergarten to sixth grade can come for a morning of pampering and fun. There is a hair station, a nail station, games, crafts, and snacks for the girls to participate in.
